Hi!!! 🙋🏻‍♂️ I’m Chad. I’m a fun and playful knitter with a passion for helping others and putting joy and goodness into the world. If you’re anything like me, then you’ve landed in the right place. Welcome!!!

My knitting adventure began in LA when I randomly won a knitting basket at a raffle. It sat in my apartment for weeks until finally one night I searched “how do I knit” on YouTube. A sweet southern woman with shiny grey fingernails inspired me to pick up the needles and get started. So I did. And I’ve been hooked ever since.

I quickly put knitting into action by volunteering at a local senior home. One day while working with a woman suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s disease, something magical happened. She was awake but unresponsive to conversion, television, or music. I decided to give knitting a try. I placed the ball of yarn in her hand and sat where she could easily watch me work. She was immediately engaged, her eyes focused on the rhythm of my hands. Her fingers danced with the yarn as it slid softly through them. She looked at me, and smiled. Knitting had stimulated her mind in ways that other therapies could not, pulling her out of her disease and into a space of presence, connection, and joy.

To me knitting is much more than just a hobby, it is also a gateway to good health, an expression of generosity, and an art form that keeps us positively engaged with family, friends, and community. My goal is to help people incorporate these gifts into their daily lives, nurturing a sense of loving purpose for themselves and others.
